Caroline is a writer, public relations strategist and podcaster based in Chicago, Illinois. She has a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Minnesota and a Master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. While at Medill, she specialized in magazine writing and editing, urban issues reporting and documentary filmmaking.

In the past, Caroline was managing editor and weekly columnist for Minneapolis-based culture site MPLS.TV, a child welfare reporter for Medill Reports, the senior content strategist at Brad's Deals and content manager at Opportunity Financial, and vice president at the PR firm JConnelly, where she managed a team in the reputation management division responsible for over $1 million in annual revenue.

A longtime contributing writer for both VICE Media and The Huffington Post, Caroline is currently vice president at Akrete Communications, a national B2B public relations, corporate communications and content marketing firm with expertise in real estate, financial and professional services.

From 2017 - 2023, Caroline cohosted the cult comedy horror podcast The Ghoul Gang. Today, you can hear Caroline and her good friend/podcasting legend Alex Goldman (of Reply All and Hyperfixed) on Amityvilleville from Radiotopia as they make their way through all 90+ Amityville horror movies.
